NONVIOLENCE LEGACY PROGRAM

Originally from Peru, Etty moved to Tucson in 2002. Etty  was a social worker, an educator, and a volunteer at El Rio Learning Center with AmeriCorps. She is currently an English Instructor at Pima Community College and also teaches GED classes with the YWCA. She is very passionate about nonviolence. In her own words “learning more about such methods and skills to promote equity is a great privilege that lets me enrich the mind of my community”. She elaborated by saying “ this allows us to  collectively work toward transforming the world into a more loving and peaceful place for all people”.
